Damascus bands are made from a combination of two different types of steel that are folded and twisted together. This method creates their unique and characteristic wavy design.

How to care for Damascus Band:

Keep in mind that moisture is the enemy of Damascus steel in general, whether it's a $1000 ring or a $30 ring. If your fingers sweat a lot or the ring is wet, it is prone to corrosion.

Fortunately, Damascus steel rings are relatively easy to maintain. You can use mild soap and warm water to wash away any dirt that may have accumulated and keep the band dry after washing. Scrub it with a soft toothbrush to get rid of stubborn dirt. Be sure to keep your ring away from harsh chemicals such as bleach that can damage the ring. Avoid salt water and chlorine, which can cause corrosion and rust over time. If you can't spare time for maintenance, we recommend a ring with a wooden sleeve.
